Fiery wreck involving 18-wheeler closes major Dallas, Texas freeway

Just after 7:30 this morning, three vehicles—including a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler—crashed and caught fire on Dallas’ LBJ Freeway. Two of the drivers were hospitalized for treatment. A person who exited her car near the scene was struck and killed by a passing car. The freeway was closed in both directions and serious traffic backups continued into the afternoon.
