The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) is continuing their activities for Global Asbestos Awareness Week (GAAW) 2011 today with “Preventing Exposure.” As part of the asbestos awareness advocacy organization’s “EXPOSED –The Facts About Asbestos” initiative, they are bringing together writers, medical experts and advocates throughout the week to help shed light on the dangers of asbestos exposure, spread awareness and provide caring and support for asbestos sufferers and their families.
Two distinguished guests will be participating in “Preventing Exposure:”
- J. Brent Kynoch, Managing Director, Environmental Information Association (EIA) with “Where is Asbestos in Your Home and in Your Workplace?”
- Christine Winter, Communications Chair, Independent Asbestos Training Providers (IATP) with “Asbestos: A Hidden Killer”
