The bill would dramatically slow the claims process and ultimately discourage people from seeking compensation from asbestos trusts. LeBlanc was the only attorney who spoke against the bill. Though the bill unanimously passed the Louisiana House, it was voted down in the Senate. This video was filmed in May 2012.
