Texas Lawyer Recognized Mesothelioma Law Firm at Inaugural Verdicts Hall of Fame Event in Dallas
DALLAS – (November 20, 2013) – Baron and Budd was recognized last week by legal publication Texas Lawyer for a $9 million verdict the firm achieved against Dow Chemical. The event took place Nov. 12 during the publication’s Inaugural Verdicts Hall of Fame reception and dinner in Dallas.
Mesothelioma lawyers at Baron and Budd achieved the verdict in 2011 in the case Henderson v. Dow Chemical. The verdict was selected as one of the top verdicts of 2010-2012 as reported by Texas Lawyer and Verdict Search. The lawsuit was originally filed on behalf of Mr. Henderson, a Dow Chemical worker who passed away from mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is caused by exposure to asbestos, which Mr. Henderson encountered during his work at the company’s Freeport, Texas chemical plant.
