READ MOREThe nonprofit asbestos awareness group Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) has a new treatment resource guide that we highly recommend to anyone who may need a mesothelioma doctor, treatment plan or second opinion.
Mesothelioma is a cancer with limited treatment options and little awareness, but you don’t have to be in the dark – ADAO’s treatment resource guide is a wonderful aid for people with mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases. It offers a list of experienced medical resources, wherever you are in the country. Please head over to the page for more information: http://www.asbestosdiseaseawareness.org/archives/19280.
ADAO’s resource page lists treatment facilities that have established themselves within this highly specialized medical field and have experience diagnosing and treating mesothelioma, asbestos-related lung cancer and related diseases. The experience of these doctors and medical organizations is critical as mesothelioma is a rare cancer and few physicians have had experience treating it.
We are proud of ADAO for adding this resource to their offerings and helping people across the country find the help they need. This new resource page is one more tool in the survival kit that we hope you can take advantage of.
Not to be forgotten is the fact that ADAO does not provide any type of endorsements. So while this new resource is a great road map to medical resources with experience – it’s up to you to take the next step: talk to the physicians and ask about their experience and results. Then make the decision that is right for you.
