Trucking Company Involved in Fatal Indiana Crash Cited for Multiple Accidents

According to an NBC Chicago investigative report, the company involved in a recent fatal trucking accident in Indiana is a repeat offender, with 34 violations and 9 accidents on the record in the last 24 months alone. In the most recent crash, five people died, including a mother and her two sons.


Documents obtained by NBC5 Investigates from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, show that [the] company, Illini State Trucking Company of Hammond, has been involved in nine other crashes in the last two years, four of them with injuries, and one fatal.”
