Baron & Budd, P.C.’s Burton LeBlanc Named Among Top 10 Louisiana Democrats by National Magazine

Baron & Budd, P.C. shareholder Burton LeBlanc has been named one of Louisiana’s Top 10 Democrats in the February issue of Campaigns & Elections Politics magazine (Political World Communications, LLC).  In an article entitled “Louisiana Influencers,” the national magazine briefly describes how each of those named have influenced Louisiana politics.

LeBlanc was recognized as the man with his hand on the pulse of Louisiana’s trial lawyers.  Burton has served as counsel to the NAACP and the AFL-CIO and as the director of the finance committee for the Louisiana Democratic Party.

Active on the national level as well, LeBlanc is treasurer of the American Association for Justice, a national organization established to promote a fair and effective justice system so that anyone who is injured through negligence or misconduct can receive justice in the courts.  LeBlanc is also Chairman of the organization’s National Finance Council.

“I’ve always been deeply aware of how politics affects the legal rights of my clients and all of us,” says LeBlanc.  “Protecting our legal rights and helping consumers in the political arena is an important part of what I have chosen to do as an attorney.”

The “Louisiana Influencers” article is part of a regular feature in Politics magazine that catalogs the top 100 opinion brokers in each state.
