Baron and Budd, P.C. Selected to Plaintiffs’ Hot List for Seventh Time

National Law Journal List Highlights Twenty National Law Firms With Meaningful Cases

DALLAS (October 6, 2011) – For the seventh time, the national law firm of Baron and Budd, P.C. was selected to the prestigious Plaintiffs’ Hot List. Compiled by the National Law Journal, the Plaintiffs’ Hot List profiles law firms who have done exemplary, cutting-edge work on the plaintiffs’ side in the past year. Out of dozens of plaintiffs’ firms throughout the country, Baron and Budd was one of only 20 firms that were selected for inclusion on the list. The National Law Journal profiled three of the most significant cases that Baron and Budd has participated in within the past year, including a $21.2 million award for the city of San Diego in an online hotel tax case, a $9 million asbestos verdict against Dow Chemical in a mesothelioma cancer case, and a $410 million settlement with Bank of America over excessive bank overdraft fees.
