Trucking Accident Kills UPS Driver in Mississippi

A chain-reaction crash on August 11 took the life of a UPS delivery driver. The accident, which involved three 18-wheelers, occurred on Interstate 20 in Newton County, MS.

A Horrific Accident

According to news reports, the accident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. near the 99-mile marker of I-20. All three of the vehicles involved were traveling east when one truck hit the rear of the other. Shortly afterward, the truck carrying the UPS driver slammed into the back of the second truck. The driver of the first truck was unhurt, but two people in the second truck were injured.

The results of the investigation into the incident were not yet available.

Many Possible Reasons
