Seven Baron & Budd Attorneys Selected by Law & Politics for 2009 Recognition
November 5, 2009 (DALLAS, Tex.) When the Texas Edition of Law & Politics’ Super Lawyers was published this fall, recognizing the top 5 percent of Texas attorneys, Baron & Budd, P.C. was honored to have five of its attorneys included: Russell W. Budd, Brent Rosenthal, Scott Summy, Bruce Steckler and Jan Soifer. Two of the law firm’s attorneys were recognized by Law & Politics in its 2009 Rising Stars list: Denyse Clancy and Renée Melançon.
Each year, Law & Politics publishes the Super Lawyers and Rising Stars listings to honor outstanding attorneys in the state who engage in over 70 different practice areas. The research editors arrive at their selections by using a rigorous multi-stage process that begins with peer nominations, requires evaluation of twelve achievement indicators and includes an investigation of the attorneys’ ethics record.
All of the Baron & Budd attorneys recognized this year have been previously recognized by Law & Politics. Russell Budd, Brent Rosenthal and Scott Summy have been honored as Super Lawyers every year since 2003—the first year the Texas edition was published.
“I’m pleased that our attorneys have received these honors,” said Russell Budd, “but I’m far more proud of the work all our attorneys do for clients every day.”
