Victoria Slaby joined the Pharmaceutical Litigation Group at the Dallas offices of Baron & Budd as an associate in 2025. She represents clients who have suffered harm from dangerous prescription drugs and defective medical devices, advocating fiercely on their behalf.

With a strong commitment to justice and a passion for helping individuals facing powerful opponents, Ms. Slaby pursued a legal career to make a meaningful impact. Ms. Slaby earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2019. She went on to receive her law degree from Brooklyn Law School in Brooklyn, New York in 2022, where she honed her skills in advocacy and legal strategy.

Ms. Slaby strives to make a positive difference in the lives of her clients. Before joining Baron & Budd, Ms. Slaby worked as an attorney at a firm specializing in family law. Her experience in this often contentious and emotionally-charged practice area helped her learn to navigate difficult and complex matters with a calm and collected demeanor. Her experience in family law furthered her commitment to helping individuals through what is often the most difficult time of their lives. In addition to her experience as a family law attorney, Ms. Slaby previously worked as a personal injury litigator. Her time in that field led her to gain valuable experience navigating complex legal challenges from intake to settlement and also to trial, where she secured favorable verdicts for her clients. It is this diverse background that equips Ms. Slaby with the ability to represent our pharmaceutical and medical device victims with compassion and tenacity.

Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Slaby enjoys creative experiences and is always eager to learn something new. She enjoys reading historical fiction, trivia, traveling, and immersing herself in different cultures. A recent trip to South Korea, her mother’s home country, has inspired her to learn to speak Korean. She also cherishes spending quality time with her husband, whether exploring new places or relaxing together at home with their two cats.
