Sean Affleck is an attorney in Baron & Budd’s document review team that works with the Class Action, Environmental, Qui Tam, and Opioid Litigation Groups. He joined the firm in 2024.

Mr. Affleck is an alumnus of Florida State University and Florida Coastal School of Law. He furthered his legal acumen by obtaining a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2009.

Mr. Affleck brings more than a decade of experience representing financial services entities and corporate plaintiffs across a spectrum of litigation and real estate matters. Formerly serving as a managing attorney at a prominent law firm specializing in residential foreclosure, title, real estate-owned properties, and evictions, Mr. Affleck navigated the intricacies of banking’s stringent regulatory framework. In 2014, he narrowed his focus to complex commercial litigation, where his proficiency yielded favorable outcomes for real estate and commercial finance enterprises, among others.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Affleck enjoys indulging his passions outside of law. Whether he’s riding his vintage BMW motorcycle, exploring new destinations, experimenting with culinary creations, golfing (poorly) with friends, or (occasionally) hitting the gym, Mr. Affleck embraces a well-rounded lifestyle.
