Eleanor Awa

Eleanor Awa is an attorney in Baron & Budd’s document review team that works with the Class Action, Environmental, Qui Tam, and Opioid Litigation Groups. She joined the firm in 2025.

Ms. Awa graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Law. She received her Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas, in 2023. While in law school, Ms. Awa served as President of the African Student Law Association from 2022 to 2023.

Ms. Awa began her legal career working as a Pre-Litigation Attorney at a personal injury firm. In this role, she developed key skills in client communication, case management, and negotiation. Ms. Awa’s interest in a legal career is driven by her passion for justice and client advocacy.

When she is not at work, Ms. Awa enjoys spending time with family and friends. She delights in watching new films and works hard to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle.
