Dwight Austin Wade joined Baron & Budd as an attorney in 2024. He is part of the document review team that works with our Class Action, Environmental, Qui Tam and Opioid Litigation Groups.

Mr. Wade earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, in 2018. Afterward, he attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, where he obtained a Master of Science in Criminal Justice in 2020. Following Lamar University, he pursued his Juris Doctor at The University of Tulsa College of Law in Tulsa, Oklahoma, earning his JD in 2023, becoming a first-generation lawyer in his family.

While in law school, Mr. Wade’s passion for justice and advocacy led him to intern for the District Attorney’s office located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the Special Victims Unit. He followed his time in the D.A.’s office with an internship at Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, also in Tulsa, where he served on the housing displacement team, representing in-need clients.

Mr. Wade enjoys the practice of law and is excited to be working for Baron & Budd. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, watching hockey, and traveling.
