Catherine Niebergall is an attorney in the Dallas offices of Baron & Budd. She manages the firm’s document review team that works with the Class Action, Environmental, Qui Tam, and Opioid Litigation Groups. She coordinates and manages all stages of document review and e-discovery projects, utilizing discovery strategies and advanced technologies in project management.
Ms. Niebergall attended the University of California, San Diego, where she earned a bachelor’s degree cum laude in political science with a minor in urban studies and planning in 2009. She received her Juris Doctor in 2014 from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. While in law school, Ms. Niebergall was an articles editor for the SMU Science and Technology Law Review, where she earned Best Comment Finalist, and participated in the Civil Clinic, where she represented low-income clients in civil cases. She also worked as a law clerk at a family law firm and a boutique whistleblower law firm in Dallas, Texas.
Prior to joining Baron & Budd in 2019, Ms. Niebergall practiced family law in Dallas and surrounding counties. Ms. Niebergall has always had a strong aspiration to help people, whether they are victims of the national opioid crisis or have suffered the damaging effects of well-water contamination. At Baron & Budd, she is excited to help provide relief to individuals and communities that have been harmed by corporate wrongdoing and negligence.
