Isaac Miller rejoined Baron & Budd’s California office as an associate in 2024, having previously worked at the firm from 2013 to 2016. His practice focuses on providing strategic legal counsel and advocacy in high-stakes class action litigation involving fraud, automobile safety, consumer protection, and invasion of privacy.
While at Pepperdine University School of Law, Mr. Miller was a law review editor. He also served as judicial extern to the Honorable California District Court Judge Consuelo B. Marshal, and as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado.
Early in his legal career, Mr. Miller worked at a California law firm specializing in construction defect litigation, class action, insurance bad faith, inverse condemnation and eminent domain litigation, and labor and employment law litigation. There, he represented clients in various consumer fraud and antitrust actions against many companies, including brand and generic pharmaceutical firms, interactive entertainment businesses and online tax preparation services, among others.
Mr. Miller then joined Baron & Budd, where he represented plaintiffs in nationwide class actions and multi-district litigation against Fortune 500 companies. During that time, Mr. Miller worked with the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in In re: Volkswagen “Clean Diesel” Marketing, Sales Practices, and Products Liability Litigation, a high-profile case involving vehicles equipped with emissions-cheating “defeat devices” that resulted in a settlement worth more than $14.5 billion.
Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Miller held executive leadership roles at a marketing company and a software development firm. As Chief Operating Officer and Legal Counsel at the marketing enterprise, he led cross-functional teams in a highly regulated industry, advised clients on digital marketing best practices and managed the successful due diligence process for the company’s acquisition. As Vice President of Operations at the software firm, he spearheaded initiatives to streamline processes and enhance performance, resulting in record-breaking production metrics. These experiences strengthened his ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, negotiate with diverse stakeholders, and deliver innovative solutions — all skills that enhance his legal practice today.
Isaac Miller takes pride in contributing to a firm dedicated to championing the rights of individuals. He derives particular satisfaction from holding corporations accountable for consumer fraud and deception.
