Terra Lane joined Baron & Budd as a staff attorney in 2021. She works with our Opioid Litigation Group to review documents pertaining to the successful representation of our clients in the fight against the opioid epidemic.
Ms. Lane was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At a young age, she developed a passion for history, writing and politics that eventually led her to law school.
Ms. Lane attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and earned a bachelor of arts in Political Science while minoring in philosophy and history. As an undergraduate student, she became a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society.
Ms. Lane attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor in 2020. While in law school, she worked as a legal assistant for a criminal defense firm in Pittsburgh and as a legal research assistant for a solo practitioner. During her legal studies, Ms. Lane was also a managing editor of the Pittsburgh Tax Review, a scholarly legal journal that focuses exclusively on issues of taxation.
When she is not advocating for victims of the opioid crisis, Ms. Lane relishes spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys creative writing and participating in a rousing game of basketball.
