Jessica E. Murray is an attorney in the Pharmaceutical Litigation Group in the Dallas offices of Baron & Budd, P.C. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Ms. Murray represented people harmed by the negligence of others, whether by drivers on the roadway, trucking companies, doctors or hospitals, or pharmaceutical companies.
Ms. Murray is originally from Bedford, Texas. She attended Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi, and earned her Bachelor of Science in History, graduating summa cum laude. After college, she pursued her dream of becoming a lawyer by attending Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi. While there, Ms. Murray was Chair of the Moot Court Board and competed in several trial and alternative dispute resolution competitions. She was inducted into the National Order of Barristers.
Her love of trial advocacy and desire to help people led Ms. Murray to pursue work in personal injury litigation. Throughout the first ten years of her career, Ms. Murray practiced in Mississippi and tried several cases to verdict — most as lead counsel. Ms. Murray has greatly enjoyed sharing her love of trial advocacy with others by helping coach her college mock trial team, coaching trial teams and teaching Trial Practice at Mississippi College School of Law, and teaching with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
Ms. Murray was excited to return to Texas to practice with Baron & Budd, P.C. She firmly believes it is her calling to work on behalf of people who have been harmed by defective medical devices and dangerous drugs.
