Soldier comes home to discover Chinese drywall problems

A U.S. soldier returned home from overseas to Port St. Lucie, Florida to discover his family’s home has Chinese drywall. The defective drywall is being blamed for his home’s leaky roof, corroded electrical outlets and air conditioner, bad smell, and his young family’s health complaints of headaches and itchy skin. The soldier, who is scheduled to return to Fort Bragg, North Carolina next week, is hoping to be allowed to bring his family with him.
