Drop side cribs recalled
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has ordered the recall of Graco®-brand drop side cribs, manufactured by New Jersey-based LaJobi, Inc.
According the CPSC, the hardware on the drop side cribs can fail or break, which can cause the drop side to detach and cause a dangerous gap in which children could become entrapped. There have been 99 reports of drop-side incidents as of the April 29 recall date. In two of them, children were entrapped and rescued. In six of them, children fell out of their cribs, with one suffering a concussion.
