Biography
Tiffany Dickenson, an attorney who joined Baron & Budd's asbestos litigation section in 2000, finds a great deal of satisfaction "representing hard working men and women who were injured just doing their jobs against the corporate interests responsible for their exposure to toxic substances. I came to work for Baron & Budd because they fight to save people's lives," she says. It is a fight she continues daily through her advocacy on behalf of her clients.
Inspired by her father, also a lawyer, Tiffany received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and her law degree from South Texas College of Law. She is currently litigation manager for several jurisdictions where the firm practices, overseeing lawsuits on behalf of people with mesothelioma, a form of cancer caused by asbestos exposure. She has second-chaired trials on behalf of mesothelioma victims in Texas as well as a Mississippi case on behalf of a man who developed cancer caused by dioxin and other harmful chemicals released from a chemical plant in his community. She is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Mississippi and is proficient in Spanish.
