Biography
Ben DuBose, a former shareholder with Baron & Budd now Of Counsel to the firm, has developed great familiarity with asbestos and the asbestos-containing properties of a number of products not generally thought of as "asbestos products." His research and tenacity allowed him to trace asbestos exposure and obtain justice for clients who might otherwise have had no compensation for their asbestos-related injuries.
Ben's commitment to his clients has been deeply expressed in his more than a decade at the firm. In addition to his asbestos clients, Ben has given his time generously to pro bono efforts. He worked with the non-profit legal services organization Trial Lawyers Care to represent a victim of the 9/11 attacks in seeking compensation from the September 11th Victims Compensation Fund. Ben has also worked with the public interest legal organization Public Justice to challenge unsafe asbestos removal practices and prevent further unnecessary exposure to asbestos.
Ben says, "I'm proud of the work we do to obtain justice for the many people already injured by asbestos and to challenge practices that could cause more people to fall victim to asbestos-related disease."
