In addition, Mr. Sbaiti has successfully represented defendants in merger agreement disputes, and has represented class action plaintiffs in antitrust, banking, and internet fraud and breach of contract matters.

Before coming to Baron & Budd, P.C., Mr. Sbaiti was a partner in Hutcherson Sbaiti LLP, where he and his partner tried numerous cases on behalf of business and investor clients involving protecting their critical business and intellectual property assets.
Mr. Sbaiti began his career as a trial attorney at Susman Godfrey LLP, a litigation boutique in Dallas, Texas, representing plaintiffs and defendants primarily on “bet the business” matters.
Prior to that, Mr. Sbaiti served as a law clerk to the Honorable Eugene E. Siler, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Before law school, Sbaiti was a high school teacher and debate coach in Carrollton, Texas.
Mr. Sbaiti received his Juris Doctorate, with honors, from Columbia University School of Law in New York, New York. There he was recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar for Academic Excellence. He also served as a Teaching Fellow for the Financial Statement Analysis courses, chaired the Moot Court Executive Board; sat on the Editorial Board of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review; served as a research & writing instructor for the First-Year Moot Court program, and coached the mock trial team.
Mr. Sbaiti received his B.A., cum laude, in Philosophy from Emory University where he was also on the Dean’s List, and was awarded the Michael F. Stanton Fellowship for writings in continental philosophy; he was also a Hall of Fame Member of the Barkley Forum, Emory’s debate society.
Mr. Sbaiti passed the bars of, and is admitted to practice in the states of New York, Texas and California.
